Well my tinnitus was bad today so I decided to try the masking sounds technique and came across this website where you calibrate your hearing and then apply that calibration to various background sounds. Once you have done the calibration you load up a sound sample, which arrives flat, then apply your own calibration. It is quite amazing the difference it makes.

Thanks for putting this up. I've only got very mild tinnitus, but it would be interesting to try this out and see what my calibration looks like and how well it works.
