I was just looking at the pics and had a question. Is there a dent or is the neck worn by the nut???? It might just be the resolution of the pic. Please let me know as I am interested. Also does it come with case and what gauge strings is it set up with??
thank you for your interest.
About the neck. It's just quite difficult for me to make a quality pick of a fretboard.
It has a metal cover, you know, so the metal is too shiny to make a realistic, clear picture.
This very fretboard has only slight signs of wear that could be seen on a very close look. So, on picks we can see only sparklings.
She comes with a soft gigbag, nothing special, just quality soft gigbag with "LineBag" logo that was with her in the shop, but, as I've just found out, I should better buy a cheap case (or change gigbag for a cheap case?) for more safe shipping.
So, cost of shipping will be a little higher, for example, to France it will be approx.100 EUR. Or maybe you or your friends can get the guitar from Moscow or St.Petersburg (Russia)?
Strings are Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Swing Flat wound 11-47, as I remember. Maybe 10-44, I'm not sure, because she was kept on the gigbag for a year or even more and I can't find the string package ever since
If it's very important for you, I can get a measurement tool and get the exact answer.
By the way, the tuning is standard. Very stable (it's a Vigier, you know).
Anyway, strings were always flatwounds TI, so the wear of a fretboard is minimal. I hope I'll be able to make appropriate picks of the fretboard surface and post them. The only time the guitar had roundwounds was the time when she was in the shop.
I hope this will help,
If you have any other questions, please, ask.
the picks of the gigbag (should be swaped for a cheap case for a more secure shipping)
