Careful now, we tried something like that with the 1st NYC Fretless Fest that featured the guitar going up a distorted girls cunt; so I guess anything is possible. Although, that graphic image seemed to upset a few even on this board............v :hug:

I thought there was a ban on mentioning the orange shirt? 1st rule of orange shirt....

I'd like to come, dunno if I can as I'm effectively a parent to an old person now...

and I have no repetoire for fretless..

Hows about a skype uplink for all the wankers that don't show?

Hallo everybody,

I'm happy to confirm the dates for the Dutch Fretless Guitar Festival VI.

It will be at Paardcafé, in The Hague, Holland. Two nights:

Friday 20 of May from 20:00 till 23:30 and
Saturday 21 of May from 20:00 till 23:30.

This is a great opportunity because Paard van Troje is the best known venue here in The Hague and one of the biggest ones here in Holland. They have three podiums and this time I got the small one, Paardcafé. They granted me two nights and they will be promoting it big time. The promoters of Paard will be attending the festival and if it works, then I'll get the medium stage next year.

They will be hanging posters all over the city, they have a big website and links to all websites here in Holland related to concerts and events.
The big advantage is that it is also located downtown, probably in the best spot of the city. It is always very crowded so I do expect a lot of public. Also, it will be published in all magazines related to music here in Holland. This is the opportunity I've been waiting for. Little by little the festival is growing. This is the chance to go to the next level.

If you are interested in playing, please let me know. This time it is important that we have good acts so we make a good impression. So please let me know!

I don't know to be true...... One thing is for sure, I'm not intending to play both nights. I did that in the past to fill in the gaps and I don't like it.

So you better get you Brit ass here amigo!

If I don't get enough serious acts I'll cancel one night at Paardcafé and use the Haags Pop Centrum again for the first night . Paardcafé HAS to be the bomb. It could be the last opportunity to make the festival a bit bigger.

I'm counting on AutorYno from Paris and Mahavira from London. Maybe Wonka can make it as well plus my band, that would be enough to start with. Two bands per night plus a few solo acts. So Gary and Jeff............... I'm counting on you!
