OK, I'm trying to loose weight again.

Trouble is, I got the munchies. (settle down Willem)

But its only for specific stuff, like tonight its just for the juice from a tin of Italian Plum Tomatoes, not the tomatoes themselves, just the juice.

???

When my wife was pregnant, she craved bitter greens and apples. We figured she was needing some micro-nutrients that these contained. Maybe you are low on tin or bisphenol A.

Any new strange cravings, or have you settled into your period of eating carrots and cardboard? I went through a point where I had to stop eating candy bars and such for snacks. I converted to rice cakes. After some time, you really can get used to eating foam.

Well, yesterday the craving for fish chips and peas with curry was overwhelming to the point of purchase.

Today a sausage and bacon barm won me over.

Oh how I have sinned.

What's a sausage and bacon barm? It doesn't sound much like diet food.

I just realized something. If you make it with "American Cheese Food Products," you can sell it to Americans and still not offend anyones else's religious sensibilities. (Note: I didn't say you wouldn't offend their taste buds.)

So you just add cheese to everything?

Does it have to be Monterey Jack?

Heavens, that's it!

Thursday was an iced bun craving, unsatisfied until Friday morning, courtesy Uncle Charlie. Friday was Steak and Ale pie, purveyed via expense account, tee hee.

Yep. Cheese on pretty much anything. Cheese fries, cheese steak, ... The slogan that made America the masters of the free world, "Would you like cheese on that?"

No, no - certainly nothing as high quality as Monterey Jack. To truly be American, it's got to be "American Cheese Food Product." Which is composed mostly of some sort of vegetable oil and some "milk solids."

Well you've just put me off cheese for the foreseeable future.
