Very nice! Sad the Gallery and Pricing pages are not up yet.

Tim has been across to the US with the harp guitars, very long lead time on them though, or I might have ordered one without the metal bits.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed fretless is offered as an option. But I'll go for the fretted version, and then maybe get a fretless when I have the $$$. Either way, this instrument will open up a lot of musical possibilities for me. :D

Well, I ordered a natural-finish TD harp guitar today :D
I also found out there is no charge for the fretless option.
I've always wondered why some companies charge extra for a fretless fingerboard.
But this is not the case with the TD harpguitars. :D

Yes- a fretless ebony fingerboard is available at no charge.
Here's an update to the TD harp guitar news page: www.timdonahue.com/harpguitarnews.html

Very Best,
TD

P.S. Jahloon, how are you doing???

Doing fine Tim, wish I could get a Harp guitar from you before the end of the year, that's when the import tax goes up here!

Still in the market for a TD original if one comes up at the right price.

Best,

Jah

Hello Jahloon,

Glad your well mate. The new board looks awesome.

Thanks for asking about a TD original. If I run across one, I'll see if I can get it for you. I must say, I'm surprized at the many variations that have popped up on the Net. I tell you Jeff- there's a whole other Internet world out there in Japanese, with lots of interest and information on fretless guitar. But you'd never know it if one doesn't read the language and know where to look on the Net.

But as you know, I read Japanese, so I occassionally across info and pics on my Original model.
Maybe I'll hold a sword to one of the owners and say "SELL!"

Thanks also for your HG interest. If and when you want one, just let me know.

I recently got the Wine Red finish models and they're gorgeous, Jeff. A fretless one would be incredible.
I'll be sure to get some pics posted on the HG website soon.

Glad you're well mate.
Best Always,
TD

Can you get me one before Xmas and the tax rise?

Hello Again Jeff,

Thanks and yes-
I'll check to see how long the custom-order fretless harp guitar will take to make.
In the meantime some new pics of the Wine Red Model and hardshell case will go up
on the website soon.

Will be in touch,
Best Always,
TD

Jahloon,

I checked on whether a custom-order fretless TD harp Guitar could be made before December.
The manufacturer said "yes", so I'll send along the details in a private email.

In the meantime, some pics of the Wine red finish TD harp guitar are online at:
www.timdonahue.com/harpguitarnews.html

Now, since there are players with these instruments, expect some instructional videos to be posted online this Autumn,
describing my HG technique in detail.

Until then...
Best Always,
TD
