Richard Morton inspired me to write about a Pink Floyd concert I went to in 1969:

Cool! How I wish I was there!! Must have been something....

Really like the old Floyd from that (spaced out) era. Live at Pompeii and Ummagumma are my favorites!

Yes, I too prefer Floyd from that era, I remember waiting for months for the release of "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" every week I would go to the record shop and ask if they had it in yet, it was worth the wait, and of course it was in Mono, those were the days when Stereo releases lagged Mono by a few weeks. I think Sgt. Peppers lagged by about two months. Well I only had a mono player back then so it was no great loss.... apparently the Mono versions are worth more than the Stereo ones.
