Calvino wrote the amazing book "Invisible Cities", highly recommended. Also he wrote two of my favorite short books: Cosmocomics, and T-Zero. The english translations I have are very well done (from what I can tell from my VERY limited Italian).

Buildings, imaginary cities, protoplasm...whatever is handy!

Tom, I got hold of the book, which paints remarkably into the memory. Especially considering it is a translation from the Italian. I can see why you chose it to be an inspiration, good luck with the project, Jeff

Glad you liked the book, Jeff. Try Cosmicomics and/or T-zero for two other great and inspiring reads (also by Calvino). These are the two books that are the direct material for the new project: The Adventures of Qwfwq.
